One morning, biking to work after a tough Buffalo Bills loss, I had a thought: maybe the reason they lost was because me—and millions of other Toronto fans—were rooting for them. So I wrote a letter, on behalf of Bills fans everywhere else, asking Toronto fans to stop. Then I taped it up around the city. Then a bunch of people started talking about it on Reddit. Then I did it again after another loss. Then it went viral.
